I want to write a letter to Juliet♥

OMG!!! I am in loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee! ♥ I am lost for words every time I watch romantic movies. The aftereffect is just so over the top. So there, I watched Letters to Juliet again for the 4th time. Yes, you saw it right - for the fourth time. Told you, the effect of this movie on me is beyond the pale! The story is about an American girl discovers a love letter that changes her life in this romantic comedy starring Amanda Seyfried and Vanessa Redgrave. The setting is Verona, Italy -- the city where Romeo and Juliet first met. In Verona, there's a wall where the lovelorn leave notes, hoping that Juliet will answer their inquiries about love. Sophie (Seyfried) is part of a team of volunteers who respond to the letters. When Sophie answers a letter from 1957, the woman who wrote it (Redgrave) decides to seek out the one that got away, and romance starts to blossom all around (rotten tomatoes)

Maybe, the not-so-common love story struck me the most. And the lines? Ahhh, beyond my expectation. I was deeply moved. Especially the exchange of letters between Claire and Sophie (Juliet). I felt the love, care, longing, hope and sadness. The letters exchanged were like this:

Dear Juliet

I didn't go to him, Juliet. I didn't go to Lorenzo. His eyes were so full of trust I promised I'd meet him and run away together because my parents don't approve. But, instead, I left him waiting for me below our tree - waiting and wondering where I was. I'm in Veronoa now. I return to London in the morning and I am so afraid. Please, Juliet tell me what I should do. My heart is breaking and I have no one else to turn to.

Love, Claire

Dear Claire,

What and If are two words as non-threatening as words can be. But put them together side-by-side and they have the power to haunt you for the rest of your life: What if? What if? What if? I don’t know how your story ended but if what you felt then was true love, then it’s never too late. If it was true then, why wouldn’t it be true now? You need only the courage to follow your heart. I don’t know what a love like Juliet’s feels like – love to leave loved ones for, love to cross oceans for but I’d like to believe if I ever were to feel it, that I will have the courage to seize it. And, Claire, if you didn’t, I hope one day that you will.

All my love, Juliet

These are two of my favorite lines from the movie:

True love has no expiration date.
- Sophie

No, when we speak about love, it's never too late.
- Lorenzo

Why John Lloyd?

My family, relatives and a lot of friends are asking me, WHY JOHN LLOYD?! He doesn't even possess the body of a Brad Pitt nor the looks of a Tom Cruise, but why him? Ok guys, chill. Let me explain to you why he has been my long time crush.

He has this SPECIAL way of looking into your eyes. This was so evident in Unofficially Yours. A lot of scenes were focused on John Lloyd while he was staring at Angel. ☺

His SMILE. Though I haven't seen him in person, I am sure that I will fall in love with his smile. ♥

His way of answering questions on an interview. Well, he doesn't like to talk much about his personal life. Well, that's my John Lloyd. He keeps you guessing. Pero kapag tinanong naman siya, he will answer you with sincerity. He is not selfish.

His acting skills. Oh gosh, you can never find another John Lloyd. His talent is a rarity. Yung parang totoo. Yung feel na feel mo. It's like, someone will fall in love with you after watching you on a movie. One More Chance is the perfect example. After watching the movie, a lot of friends told me, "Yee, parang in love na rin ako sa John Lloyd mo."

He cries with his heart. A lot (if not all) of his movies were all box-office hits. Why? Because of his superb and intense drama skills. Yung parang naiin-love and at the same time, naiiyak ka kapag pinapanood mo siya. You can really feel the pain when he cries. Tapos, yung style niya pa na medyo ipa-pout yung lips niya habang umiiyak, OMG! The greatest thing ever!

He is a man of few words. He has this way of making you crave for more. Yung parang bitin, kaya maghahanap ka pa. He will not be as talkative as you wanted him to be. May something. May hmmpt!

His sense of fashion. Like duh?! Siya kaya yung nagpa-uso nung bitin pants with leather shoes! He does not possess the face of a Tom Cruise and the built of a Brad Pitt, but when carries himself with what he wears, he is like the most handsome guy in the world. He is oozing with confidence. He is confident of himself, his body, his face, and his sense of fashion.

He is a natural comedian. His sense of humor is brilliant. Like, OMG! Ang cute niya kapag sumasayaw siya especially if it is a funny dance.

His kiss will always leave a mark. When he kisses, you can really feel the passion, the love, the intensity. Oh well, that's part of his job. Haha. OA sige.

He knows his craft. He exactly knows what to do in order to show the world how good he is. He doesn't have to boast about it or what, it just really shows.

He knows how to make someone "kilig". Gets mo? He will look straight into your eyes, he will utter something that will make you kilig. He did this on some of his movies like A Very Special Love, My Amnesia Girl, and Unofficially Yours. Who wouldn't be tickled pink upon laying eyes on him? That's the magic of John Lloyd Cruz.

He is just a simple guy. He is the typical guys who drinks beer and eats his regular sisig. He doesn't like fame that much. He wants his life to be private as possible. Pero hindi naman maarin yun di ba? He is a public figure. He understands the nature of his job but he wants to keep something away from the public.

Oh gosh.. I think those reasons aren't enough to really describe my feelings for this man. HAHAHA I DO NOT CARE. :p

Homily of Love

Since my blog is entitled "Stolen Heart", let me share with you this really inspiring homily. This was shared to us by our Theology teacher way back in my freshman year. After reading it, I was inspired to wait for the right one. What I love about this homily is that it tells you all the realities of love.. the joy, happiness, pain or sorrow it can bring. This homily also describes love in many different ways that you can relate about.

I do not own this piece. Credits to the owner. :)

When you think of your past love, you may view it as a failure. But when you find a new love, you view the past as a teacher. In the game of love, it doesn’t really matter who won or who lost. What is important is you know when to hold on and when to let go!

You know you really love someone when you want him or her to be happy, even if their happiness means that you’re not part of it. Everything happens for the best. If the person you love doesn’t love you back, don’t be afraid to love someone else again, for you’ll never know unless you give it a try. You’ll never love a person you love unless you risk for love.

Love strives in hurting. If you don’t get hurt, you don’t learn how to love. Love doesn’t hurt all the time. Though the hurting is still there to test you, to help you grow.
